Big Island Self Sufficiency is Our Mission!

Alcohol/Fuel Production

Hello,

I am looking for anyone who would be willing to teach me the production of fuel/alcohol using either sugar cane, or different types of plants in general in exchange for a helping/working hand... perhaps an apprenticeship? If there is anyone willing to teach that would like help or work in the process or if anyone generally knows someone who would be interested, please let me know. Thanks so much!

Best Way to Use Bones

I recently came across a web page with some resources listed including how to find raw bones here.  This got me to thinking, what would be the best way to get raw bones into the soil to have their phosphorus and calcium used by plants?  Burning?  Grinding?  Just by burying them at the bottom of the hole when you plant trees?
